04/03/2018 @ 11:54 am. Two men hit each other on the face and body with high heeled shoes while arguing inside of a vehicle. Both suspects were arrested. #02116

04/03/2018 @ 3:13 am. An unknown suspect smashed a front window to gain access and removed a safe containing $2K cash and ten cartons of cigarettes. Loss $4500. #02118

1000 block Orange Grove Avenue
04/03/2018 @ 2:40 pm. A maintenance worker saw two males attempting to gain entry into a vacant apartment notified West Hollywood Station. Responding deputies located one of the suspects outside of the location and arrested him. The suspect was in possession of a garage clicker that was taken from the same apartment complex during a previous burglary. #02120

04/03/20108 @ 12:53 am. An unknown suspect removed a doorknob to gain entry to the apartment complex and damaged five additional doorknobs as he was entering various areas of the building.

04/05/2018 @ 6:50 pm. Four men were seen climbing into the victims open window by a neighbor. The suspects realized they had been seen and fled the area. No loss. #02166

04/05/2018 @ 10:30 pm. A women was standing in the driveway retrieving a key from her backpack when a man approached her while armed with a handgun and demanded her backpack. The suspect pulled the victims backpack from her shoulder and fled the area on foot. Loss $125 (passport, key, debit card, backpack). #02171

04/06/2018 @ 10:45 – 2 am. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a book and wallet from the front floorboard. The backpack and wallet were found later that evening on the street. Loss $1050. #02196

04/06/2018 @ 8 pm – 9 am. An unknown suspect removed a shopping bag containing wine glasses, towels, and four pillows from the back seat. No sign of forced entry. Loss $90. #02214

04/08/2018 @ 2:45 am. A man pulled a knife and threatened a Lyft Driver after he was asked to leave the vehicle. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #02232

04/08/2018 @ 1:15 am. A women was walking on Fountain Avenue when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her arm and pulled her purse from her hand. The suspect then fled the area on foot. Loss $225 (purse, wallet, passport, credit cards, $20 cash). #02228

8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
04/08/2018 @ 6:51 pm. A women set up a meeting to sell two I phones to the suspects. During the meeting, the suspects took the phones from the victim and fled the area on foot. Responding deputies located and arrested one of the suspects and recovered one of the phones. Loss $450. #02240

04/08/2018 @ 11:11 pm. A women was walking on Laurel Avenue with her cell phone in her hand when another women approached her and attempted to take the phone. The victim retained possession of her phone. #02249

03/26/2018 – 03/29/2018. An unknown suspect removed golf clubs and ski boots from the parking garage. Loss $2300. #02020

Armed Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/26/2018 @ 9:55 am. A man removed clothing and a laptop ventilator and left the store without payment. When confronted by store security, the suspect began to swing his arms in an attempt to escape. The suspect then reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife, which he began to swing and point at the victim in a threatening manner. The suspect was allowed to leave. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. Loss $60. #01915

03/26/2018 @ 10:45 am. A traffic collision occurred and the victim exited his vehicle to exchange information with the suspect. The victim tried to take a picture of both vehicles, but the suspect grabbed the victim’s cell phone from his hand and fled the area in his vehicle. Loss $200. #01918

03/26/2018 @ 3 pm. A women removed two leather backpacks and one leather purse and began to run from the store. An employee that was blocking the suspects exit was knocked to the ground by the suspect. Loss $4380. #01928

03/26/2018 @ 9 pm – 10:15 pm. An unknown suspect smashed the front and rear passenger’s side windows and removed a backpack containing makeup from the front seat, two backpacks containing a camera and sunglasses from the back seat, and a purse from the backseat. Loss $2K. #01939

03/26/2018 @ 8 pm – 9 pm. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer, headphones, IPad mini, and an IPad case from the interior. Loss $3100. #01941

03/27/2018 @ 1:10 am. A women and three men were seen sitting inside a vehicle they did not own and were confronted by a witness. The suspects removed a jacket and guitar cables and ran from the vehicle. Two of the suspects were arrested later that evening. Loss: Jacket and guitar cables. #01944

03/28/2018 @ 10 am. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from gym bag while the victim was playing basketball. Loss $1100. #01974

03/28/2018 @ 2:35 pm. A man removed miscellaneous food items and left the store without payment. When confronted by store security, the suspect punched the victim two times in the face in an attempt to escape. The suspect was arrested. Loss $174 (recovered). #01978

03/29/2018 @ 4:40 pm. A man approached the teller window and produced a note that said he was armed with a gun and demanding money. The employee walked away from the window and entered a back room. The suspect fled the area on foot. No loss. #02001. The suspect was arrested a short time later after committing a similar incident, refer #02004.

03/29/2018 @ 5:43 pm. A man approached the teller window and produced a note that said he was armed with a gun and demanding money. The employee gave the suspect cash and the suspect fled the area on foot. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect and recovered the stolen money. #02004.

03/30/2018 @ 7 pm. An unknown suspect removed a wallet containing $3500 cash, credit cards, and a driver’s license that the victim accidentally left at the cash register of the store. Loss $3570. #02039

04/01/2018 @ 11:30 pm. A man was walking through the dance floor when he bumped into another man, which caused a short verbal altercation. The victim walked away and then felt someone strike him on his lower back but he did not feel any pain. The victim realized later that same night that he had been poked with a pocket knife. #02082

03/19/2018 @ 10 pm. A man removed two tents and left the store without payment. When confronted by store security, another man who was with the suspect sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray. Both suspects then fled the area on foot. Loss $180. #01770

03/20/2018 @ 5:30 am. An unknown suspect removed copper wire from the unsecured construction site. Loss $15K. #01780

03/20/2018 @ 4 pm – 12:05 am. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a laptop computer, purse, makeup bag, and clothing from the back seat and rear floorboard. Loss $2070. #01792

7200 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/21/2018 @ 9:25 pm. Two women were walking on Santa Monica Blvd when a male crossed their path and mumbled an incoherent statement. The suspect threw a knife at the victims but it missed them and landed in the street. The suspect then hit one of the victims on her back with his fists and then fled the area on Santa Monica Blvd. The suspect was arrested later that same evening after committing a similar incident. #01812

03/21/2018 @ 11:55 pm. Two women were walking on the sidewalk when a male crossed their path and mumbled an incoherent statement. The victims saw the suspect was holding a knife, so they walked across the street to avoid him. The suspect ran after the women and stabbed one of them on her left arm. The suspect then ran away on La Brea Avenue. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect and also linked him to another assault (#01812) that occurred earlier in the evening. #01817.

03/21/2018 @ 12:20 am. A man was unlocking his front gate when two men approached him from behind and struck him on the head with an unknown object. The victim fell to the ground and one of the men pointed a handgun at him and demanded his money. The victim yelled for help and the suspects fled the area on foot. No loss. #01794

03/22/2018 @ 2:30 am. Two men were walking SB on Robertson Blvd when they heard a racial epithet come from a group of men that were walking directly behind them. The victims confronted the suspects and a verbal argument ensued, which quickly escalated to a physical fight. One of the victims was punched and kicked several times and the other victim was punched one time in the face. #01818

03/22/2018 @ 11:30 pm. A man was standing on the corner of Curson Avenue / Lexington Avenue with his phone in his hand when a man approached him from behind and grabbed him in a bear hug. The victim and the suspect fell to the ground, which caused the victim to drop his phone. A second suspect that was standing nearby ran over and picked up the victims phone. Both suspects ran to a nearby car and fled the area. Loss $1100.

12/05/2017 @ 7:30 pm. A man was walking on Santa Monica Blvd when a man approached and tried to reach into his pockets. The victim walked away but was followed by the suspect and punched one time in the face. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect removed $100 cash from his pocket and fled the area. 11/29/2017 @ 7 – 8:50 pm. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a hat from the back seat and a checkbook from the glove box. Loss $480. #06632

November 30th
Armed Robbery
8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
11/30/2017 @ 8 am. A male parking attendant was sitting in his booth when a man approached him while armed with a handgun and demanded money. The victim told the suspect he had no money and a short struggle ensued. The suspect fled the area on foot. No loss. #06637

11/30/2017 @ 9:15 am – 6:20 pm. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing shoes and makeup from the front seat. Loss $490. #06648

09/18/2017 @ 8:40 PM.  A male suspect cut the lock and removed a bicycle from the sub parking garage. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect in possession of the stolen bike. #05070

09/19/2017 @ 7:00 PM – 7:45 AM.  An unknown suspect used force on the driver’s side door to gain entry and removed an airbag from the steering wheel. Loss $2700. #05093

September 20th

09/20/2017 @ 11:33 AM.  A woman assaulted another women with her vehicle during a road rage incident. The victim was not injured. #05095

09/21/2017 @ 11:27 AM.  A women entered a store and pointed a handgun at two victims.  The suspect knocked over a vase and picture frame from the display area and then left the store and walked away on Melrose Avenue.  Loss $150 (vase, picture frame, key chains). #05114

09/21/2017 @ 1:25 PM.  A woman stuck a large knife in the door frame of the business.  The suspect was arrested at her residence later that evening by detectives. #05117

09/21/2017 @ 12:15 AM.  A man removed a backpack containing clothing from the back yard.  The suspect also entered a guest house on the property but was scared away by a resident. Loss $75. #05109

08/22/2017 – 09/21/2017.  An unknown suspect removed a set of golf clubs and Christmas ornaments from an unlocked storage locker in the sub-parking garage. Loss $650. #05126

09/22/2017 @ 2:50 PM.  A male adult used a stolen key to access an apartment and removed food.  The suspect was located inside the apartment by responding deputies and arrested. Loss $23. #05134

09/23/2017 @ 12:30 AM – 3:00 AM.  An unknown suspect ransacked the center console and glove box and opened the trunk.  The suspect removed a duffle bag and luggage containing a laptop computer, clothing, jewelry, camera equipment, and headphones from the trunk.  The vehicle was a convertible with the top left down. Loss $60K. #05191

09/23/2017 @ 9:30 PM.  A male filled a shopping cart full of an energy drink and attempted to leave the store without payment.  When confronted by security, the suspect began to resist and a struggle ensued.  The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #05157

Robbery (Strong Armed – Suspects arrested)
7600 block Santa Monica Blvd
09/24/2017 @ 4:04 AM.  Two men were walking along on Santa Monica Blvd when four men approached them from behind and demanded their property.  One of the victims was punched in the face and the other victim was shoved to the ground.  One cell phone was taken.  Loss $500 (cell phone). All four suspects were arrested, shortly after the incident. #80031
